Job Title: Marketing Communications Associate
Reports to: Marketing & Brand Development Director
Hours: Full time (office hours: 8am – 5pm, Monday – Friday)

Position Purpose: The Marketing Communications Associate is responsible for the development and advancement of internal and external client communications through management of written and visual content, public relations, social media, project management and marketing support.

Job Requirements

Create: Develop | Implement

  • Deliver results focused on financial, cultural, and eternal impact
  • Provide strong project management focused on quality and timely results
  • Meet or exceed client expectations through effective project management and coordination of resources
  • Develop and lead crisis communications efforts
  • Effectively write and edit content, without error, for a variety of audiences on a variety of platforms

Connect: Manage | Assist

  • Manage internal and external resources to meet client needs
  • Deliver rapid and professional public relations solutions to clients
  • Provide editorial support and guidance as needed
  • Assist in development of new client relationships
  • Implement processes in an environment that requires collaboration
  • Analyze metrics to evaluate impact and adapt strategies accordingly
  • Travel as necessary

Candidate Expectations

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in relevant field such as marketing, public relations, journalism or communications
  • Undergraduate degree required, post-graduate degree preferred
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, including demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple activities, and deliver accurate results on deadline
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and working knowledge of WordPress, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Experience with LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube and Twitter Analytics
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite preferred
