Position Title: Human Resource Coordinator

Reports to: Director of Human Resources

Hours: Part-time

Position:The Human Resource Coordinator will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the human resource department with focus areas on documenting, organizing, and filing.

The Human Resource Coordinator must be a person of godly character—trustworthy with unimpeachable integrity, one who is driven yet with a humble attitude and a servant’s heart. We are looking for an experienced team player who is a strategic technical expert interested in transformational impact and providing value to whatever organization they are a part of.

The Human Resource Coordinator must be both personable and personal, capable of building trusting relationships inside and outside the organization. They should have the highest level of professional expertise exercising wise judgment and promoting trust and respect throughout the organization.

Systems, processes, and structure are paramount not as a straitjacket but as a launching pad for effective and efficient operation. This person pays attention to the details and how they fit into the overall big picture or our enterprise.

Engage: Enterprise, Enterprise Affiliates, and External

  • Develop trusted-partner relationships with AE team members, affiliate leaders, and external partners
  • Coordinate Best Places to Work in Indiana
  • Assist with end-of-year preparation and enterprise medical plan open enrollment
  • Maintain benefit meeting minutes for enterprise plans
  • Maintain and expand annual calendar to include affiliate deadlines and touchpoints


Facilitate: Educate, Empower and Execute

  • Collect and distribute HR-specific mail to appropriate team members
  • Proofread policy and procedure documents, enterprise-wide communication, and HR materials
  • Appropriately name and file communication and documents within the HR secure folder structure
  • Maintain and manage the secure HR folder structure for ease of retrieval, compliance, and document retention
  • Complete employment verifications for applicable organizations
  • Assist with salary benchmarking by running requested PayScale reports
  • Maintain permissions database in ADP Workforcenow
  • Document and file appropriate materials for employment changes and updates
  • Assist with the administration of the Strategic Discovery Process

  • Stay up to date and manage required training regulations
  • Research and stay up to date on ways to increase efficiencies through automation
  • Maintain enterprise portal for HR contacts with relevant resources and legal updates
  • Research and implement more automated orientation process



Professional Credentials/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field of study preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
  • At least one year of experience in human resource administration
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize, adapt and change required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
