To side with his university education James completed two financial internships. His first was with Bippus State Bank (Huntington, IN), where he learned the day-to-day roles of a community banker. In his free time, James loves the “real game” of football (soccer) and when he is not playing, he is following the greatest club in the English Premier League, Crystal Palace Football Club. He also enjoys coaching the game to the younger generation and during his senior year served as the head coach for the Riverview middle school boys soccer team.
