Mark Heine

As Vice President of Private Equity Investments, Mark Heine helps lead AE’s private equity investment efforts, working with business owners, leaders, and partners to support long-term growth and a lasting legacy.

Mark brings more than 10 years of experience across public accounting, restructuring and turnaround consulting, strategy, and corporate finance. His background spans a broad range of industries and company sizes, from lower-middle-market businesses to large publicly traded companies. Before joining Ambassador Enterprises, Mark held roles at Ernst & Young, Hamernik LLC, and Steel Dynamics, Inc.

Mark earned his bachelor’s degree in Accounting with High Distinction and Honors in Business, as well as an MBA in Finance, from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. He is a licensed CPA and was an Indiana High Grade Award winner on the CPA exam in 2015.

Mark serves as School Board Treasurer for Emmanuel-St. Michael Lutheran School and as a member of the Finance Committee at Emmanuel Lutheran Church. He is a 2024 Leadership Fort Wayne graduate and previously served on the Turnaround Management Association Indiana Board.

Outside of work, Mark enjoys spending time with his family, staying involved in the community, playing golf, reading, and following sports.
